I am firmly convinced that an important part of Muslim nations’ succeeding in the future is in studying the history of the US, not as a “great satan” but as a nation which started with truly noble and upright aspirations that were methodically undermined due, in part, to a public that lacked the tools, education, and vigilance to know, understand, and safeguard their founding ideas and ideals.

As salamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
The concept of Libertarianism is interesting and it got me thinking about the nature of the Ameer and his relation to enforcing the Shariah in a proper Islamic polity (for lack of a better word)? Would there an Police Force to enforce the law like making sure people aren’t gambling, wearing proper clothing, not brewing their own alcohol etc? Or is it a case of let all be and if there are any openly sinful Muslims then they should be shamed in to renouncing their bad deeds instead of being arrested and put before a Qadhi?
It would be nice to read what you might have to say about this dear Sh. Qays.
